∵△ABC is a equilateral triangle
∴CB=AB=AD+DB=2 (definition ofequilateral triangle)
CD^2+DB^2=CB^2(Pyth.Theorem)
CD=√3DB/CD=1/√3OR √3/3
tan ∠BCD= DB/CD
tan 30°=DB/CD =1/√3 OR √3/3
∠ECB=∠CDB+∠DBC(ext. ∠ of △)
∠ECB=150°∠ECB+∠EBC+∠BEC=180°(∠ sum of△)
∠EBC=15°
∵∠EBC=∠BEC=15°
∴EC=CB=2
tan ∠DEB=DB/DE=1/(√3+2)= 2-√3
When DB becomes longer, ∠DEB decreases and the value of tan∠DEB decreases.
tan 7.5° < tan 15° < tan 30°
